The Dragons Went Down to Georgia.....
May 6, 2015, 5:04 pm

Winning the championship in Dalton, Georgia was a special day for us. The players as a group need to be recognized for working so hard off the field to ready themselves for this year. Every one of them without exception played Kattastic! Coach Rad wants to specifically give props to Coach Joe, Coach Greg and Coach Jason for doing such an excellent job in preparing these young ladies to play their best at each tournament. Coach Rad may steer the ship, but much of the hard work and credit goes to those coaches! Lastly, but certainly not least, we want to say thanks to our wonderful parents, who get up at 3 or 4 AM, travel across state lines after working jobs all week, just to deal with a big overgrown coach barking orders at their kids, just to make their babies better softball players. Let's keep up the great work. There's more softball to be played!

Dragons "Stinked" Up the NSA Fall Championships
Oct 6, 2014, 6:20 pm

It really was not as bad as the title sounds.....

But, Kirsten "Stink" Eversole led the Dragons in every way she could Saturday by getting two pitching wins, playing solid in the field, and batting like a boss all day long.

The wildest game was versus the Pride, who came back from a big deficit to tie the game in the final inning. This set up Boo Richardson to hit the winning run home as Lilly Farner (who still has an injured hand) used her gift of speed to score all the way from second base.

The Dragons came in Second Place in the Gold Bracket to the always-solid Comets. This is the third time in as many weekends that the Dragons have brought home trophies. They are playing better each weekend and are bonding as a group!
