Dragons Take First Place at Curveball Classic In Columbia!

The Tennessee Dragons Fastpitch Softball team won its first tournament as a 14u team this past Saturday at the Curveball Classic in Columbia!

 

Great pitching from Boo Richardson, huge hits from Taylor Vestal, Julia Barnett, Bailey Lasater and Taylor Overstreet, as well as sneaky and stealth baserunning from Lilly Farner sealed the tournament for the Dragons.

 

The Dragons will be back in action September 27 in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Come out and watch the Dragons compete against the best softball teams anywhere!


Dragons Move to 14u!

The TN Dragons Fastpitch Softball team is in the process of completing its move to 14u softball. The team has added several new players in recent days and anticipates adding 2 to 3 more in the next few weeks. DRAGON FIRE TOURNAMENT MAY 3 IN SHELBYVILLE!!!

Come out Saturday May 3, 2014 as the TN Dragons Fastpitch Softball team hosts its First Annual Dragon Fire Softball Tournament at Musgrave Park in Shelbyville, Tennessee!

 

We already have fourteen 12u teams participating and more 8u and 10u teams are signing up.

 

Come out and watch the Dragons compete against some of the best 12u teams anywhere!!!


DRAGONS TAKE SECOND PLACE IN OWENSBORO KENTUCKY

The Tennessee Dragons 12u Fastpitch softball team took home a second-place trophy from the TNL/NSA All Nighter tournament in Owensboro Kentucky this weekend. Leading the Dragons were Taylor Quast and Taylor Vestal with huge offensive and defensive efforts.

 

The Dragons made it to the Championship Game by winning a hotly contested extra inning game against Toxic Extreme by the score of 11 to 8. The teams combined for 29 hits in the contest. Quast went three for three in the game from the plate and also drove in two game-winning runs with a triple in the top of the final inning. Quast then made a diving catch in center field to preserve the victory.

 

Vestal played incredibly throughout the tournament. She batted .600 from the plate and had a .750 on base percentage. Defensively, she continuously made plays from the catcher, second base and right field positions.

 

The Dragons will be back on the field March 8 in Cookeville Tennessee. Come out and see the Dragons compete against some of the best 12u softball teams anywhere!
